Over 30 local business owners attended the August SCORE Workshop that focused on how to seek, identify, select and use advisers at no or low cost!!

There are many people who are ready and willing to offer business advice, which may prove to be critical to the success of a small business or start-up. The challenge is to make sure that the adviser is qualified and the advice is affordable, relevant, useful, valuable and beneficial. This workshop discussed how you meet those challenges.

GEORGE RUSZNAK, SCORE counselor and past chapter Chairman founded and ran several companies in the computer industry as well as several consulting firms. He has served as mentor and adviser to high school and university students, start-ups, small business owners and senior executives of large companies such as Bank of America, Chevron, Intel, Apple, British Airways, and Nestle.
